How to Apply for Pakistani Passport

Pakistani Expats living in UAE can get their passports renewed from the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai or Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi.

You can either to choose to visit the consulate or embassy physically by taking an appointment and then submitting the passport along with the fees, or you can apply online.

Immigration Department in Pakistan has made the online application process quick and easy by introducing E – Services Portal for Pakistani Diaspora abroad as it cuts out the effort of physically going to the Consulate.

Make sure to have all the necessary documents and valid credit card ready before beginning the online renewal process for your Pakistani passport.

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR PASSPORT RENEWAL:

  1. Photograph up to 5MB captured as explained in the Photograph Tutorial.
  2. Fingerprint form
  3. Original Passport (mandatory) + Photocopy
  4. Original valid CNIC/NICOP/Smart Card (mandatory) + Photocopy

Note: In Case of Dual Nationality Original Foreign Passport along with photocopies (Mandatory)

PASSPORT RENEWAL FOR CHILDREN UNDER 18 YEARS:

Documents Required:

  1. Father’s Original valid Passport + Photocopy
  2. Father’s Original valid CNIC/NICOP + Photocopy
  3. Mother’s Original valid Passport + Photocopy
  4. Mother’s Original valid CNIC/NICOP + Photocopy
  5. Child Original Passport + Photocopy
  6. Child Original valid Form B/NICOP/ Smart NICOP + Photocopy
  7. Father and Mother Personal Presence along with child (Mandatory)
  8. In case of separation custody papers from court duly attested From Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan and UAE

Note: In Case of Dual Nationality Original Foreign Passport along with photocopies (Mandatory)

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR NEWBORN PASSPORT APPLICATION: 

  1. Child Original Birth Certificate Attested (mandatory) + Photocopy (Attested from Ministry of Foreign Affairs UAE)
  2. Child Original NICOP + Photocopy
  3. Father’s Original valid Passport + Photocopy
  4. Father’s Original valid CNIC/NICOP + Photocopy
  5. Mother’s Original valid Passport + Photocopy
  6. Mother’s Original valid CNIC/NICOP + Photocopy
  7. Father and Mother Personal Presence along with child (Mandatory)
  8. Affidavit / Personal NOC Required if Father or Mother is foreign national attested from concerned consulate/Embassy
